The 4 Laws of Financial Prosperity by Blaine Harris and Charles Coonradt

This book is definitely worth a read. I read it on a 2 hour flight to my doTerra conference. A super easy and quick read, it presents great information about how to handle your finances. While a lot of books have similar information, this one was laid out nicely and made it simple to follow. I have always been a cliff notes kind of gal, so this was perfect for me. In a nutshell, here are the 4 laws:

Law 1: Track every penny that comes into your life and out of your life

This includes all expenses even those pennies we throw into the pond for our wishes. If you have a partner or children, the book suggests having them do the same thing. What a great idea!

Law 2: Create financial goals and write them down and look at them often

It is so important to be clear on what you want, especially when working with the law of attraction. So write those financial goals down and read them everyday at least once, but the more you read them throughout the day, the better.

Law 3: Pay yourself first at the beginning of the month

This supports creating healthy savings habits. Get smart about budgeting by putting aside money for everyone each month. Even if you can only afford $2 to start ... start!

Law 4: Train/educate yourself

Learn as much as possible about how money works and how to make it work for you in your life. For the 15-week Journey, this includes how you think about money and ways to improve your relationship with money.

Final Thoughts

I highly recommend this book- this is a very basic overview and he has a great way of explaining the book. It was a simply and easy read that makes a lot of sense to me. I have started tracking every penny I make and will review it next month to see where i can cut out some expenses to reach my goals by Dec 31. The book also talks about debt and how it can really have a negative effect in our lives and how to pay your debts off quickly and easily.
